Bright lights and frequent announcements are common complaints, so bring along an eye mask and earplugs. Airside, you will find a few spots that have some padded couches, but armrests reign at SFO. Announcements are low, but bring a blanket. Each couch is big enough for two people, provided you like each other. There are padded benched in Terminal 2 near Baggage Claim #4 (post-security in arrivals). Terminals 2 and 3 each have a couple decent sleep spots, both landside and airside. Overnight campers generally have no problems but will have to search for comfortable seating. This is also home to the following lounges Delta Sky Club, Swiss Business Class, Wingtips, Air India, El Al King David, Etihad, Emirates, Virgin Clubhouse. The lounge will be opening in Terminal 4 in early 2019. I don’t remember the last time I have seen a Centurion Lounge this empty. It’s nice to see that Amex will be righting a wrong here and putting the Lounge in JFK, a very heavy volume airport. Current Centurion Locations: I’ve always felt it was odd that Amex chose LaGuardia as the NYC location since it is much smaller than JFK, not to mention it has a less than stellar reputation. The New York City area will be the first to have two Centurion Lounges. The first Centurion Lounge opened in Las Vegas in 2013. See our early review here. Amex Platinum Cardholders currently have access to 9 Centurion Lounges. The newest lounge will open in JFK International Airport. Today, we received news that Amex is expanding its’ Centurion Lounge network.
